iStudio admitted to 22nd Biennial of Industrial Design

The work »Key Categories, Key Markets, Key Facts« from iStudio by Andrej Lapajne, will be exhibited at the 22nd international biennial of industrial design (BIO 22), taking place from 7th of October to 7th of November 2010 at Museum for Architecture and Design, Fužine Castle. The work was chosen in an extensive international competition of 503 registered works from 34 countries.

The members of the international commission: Veronika Egger (Austria), Ilona Gurjanova (Estonia), Cvetka Požar (Slovenia), Lidija Pritržnik (Slovenia), Michal Stefanivski (Poland), Nedjelko Špoljar (Croatia), Georg Wanker (Austria) and Jonathan Young (Sweden) selected 132 out of 503 registered works for the exhibition, only 20 among those in the informational design section, this year presented as an independent section for the first time.

The project »Key Categories, Key Markets, Key Facts« was designed for Droga Kolinska and translates complex market situation of the customer into readable visual messages leading the management to important decisions concerning markets, products, brands, advertising etc.

BIO is a design exhibition with high reputation which, with the selection of well designed products and emphasis on their quality, originality and innovativeness, shows current trends in modern design. At BIO every two years the latest achievements of designers, subscribers, producers and students from all over the world, are shown to public.
BIO is organized by Museum for Architecture and Design (previously named Architectural Museum Ljubljana).
